East Pearl Street runs off East Main Street in Torrington, a few minutes from Route 8, and a short drive from Litchfield, Winsted, Harwinton, New Hartford, Goshen, Thomaston and Watertown.

Do I need an appointment?
Yes. The shop is by appointment, so a fitting room is ready for you and your people when you arrive. Call (860) 489-4774 during open hours to book.
How do I book?
By phone. Call (860) 489-4774, tell us what the occasion is and when it is, and we set the time with you on the call. If we are with a bride, leave a message and we call you back.
What should I bring to a bridal appointment?
Photos of what you like, shoes near the height you will wear, the undergarments you would wear with a gown, and the people whose opinion you want. Bring your date and the number you want to spend, and we will only pull what fits both.
How far ahead should I order a wedding gown?
Most gowns are made to order and take months to arrive, and alterations come after that. Call as soon as you have a date. If your date is close, call before you assume it cannot be done; rush orders have been handled here.
Will you alter a dress I bought somewhere else?
Call first and tell us about the dress and your date, and we will tell you honestly what can be done and when.
How does tuxedo rental work?
You are measured in the shop, the tuxedo arrives here ahead of the event, you try it on here, and you return it after. Groomsmen who live far away can be measured near them through Jim's Formal Wear and the order still comes to us.

There is a private lot at the shop. Park and come to the door of the house.
